Linux Now Available as an OS Option

For our more advanced and tech-savvy users, we are now offering Linux as an option for operating systems on Clevo laptops.

The following distributions are currently offered:

• Ubuntu

More Linux distributions may be added in the future. The version of the distribution we install will be the most up-to-date. As such, if there is a newer version of the distribution, we will installed this newer version instead of the version stated on our website. We may also install relevant third-party drivers in order to keep basic functionality.

Please note that there is a service charge for installing these Linux distributions.

Important Disclaimer

Ubuntu works out-of-the-box as it automatically handles all drivers. However, Clevo does not officially support Linux. As such, our technical support will be limited to hardware issues.

Additionally, the included driver installation disc (made for Windows) will not work on Linux. We will not be able to install and offer support for additional firmware and/or software, such as Clevo Control Center.

NOTE: The Linux option has been disabled indefinitely on laptops with NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards due to compatibility and reliability issues.
